Current CFO to Remain Through Transition and Continue as Consultant
HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 22, 2013--
K12 Inc. (NYSE: LRN) announced today that Harry T. Hawks, Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer, has informed the Board of his
plans to leave the Company before the end of the fiscal year. Mr. Hawks
has agreed to continue in his current role and beyond, as a consultant,
to ensure a successful transition for his successor.
Mr. Hawks joined K12 in 2010 with extensive corporate finance and
development experience. During Hawks’ tenure, he made a meaningful
contribution to the substantial growth of the Company, which enabled the
Company to provide thousands of children more educational choices.
