The charter for NCVA was approved Thursday by the North Carolina Learns Charter School Board and will oversee the school and set policy for school leaders and teachers. NCVA will use K12's nationally-recognized curriculum technology. The school will employ state-certified teachers from across North Carolina to provide customized instruction to students. At the core of the program, teachers will regularly interact with students, providing direct instruction, assessment, intervention, guidance, and support.
